Note:  Jets prospects and invitees were back on the ice at Jets Development Camp on Wednesday and following their on ice responsibilities players spoke to the media including Dylan Samberg, CJ Suess and Declan Chisholm which you can listen to here.  Today is day 4 of Development Camp and players start to hit the ice at 10:00 AM.

Note II:  With the full 82 game schedule out on Tuesday the Jets released their promotion/event schedule on Wednesday.

Note III:  Yesterday was the first day that other NHL teams could contact RFAs belonging to another NHL squad and Pierre LeBrun reported that some teams contacted Kyle Connor’s camp.  The good news for the Jets is that LeBrun indicated in that same tweet that it is Connor’s intention to negotiate and sign with Winnipeg.

Winnipeg Free Press:  D-man reaffirms plan to return to school despite Jets opportunity.  (Paywall).  No guarantee he wouldn’t be AHL bound next season whereas the following year he is likely a lock for an NHL job with the Jets.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Suess a serious-minded senior at Jets summer camp.  (Paywall).  It was tough for the first-year pro to see his inaugural pro season end in December.  You can bet he will be motivated.
