It’s been a few days since we wrote a regular season Jets Practice Report. 175 days to be precise, but it’s finally time to kick off the 2026-27 regular season in Winnipeg. The team was off on Tuesday, the first official day of the NHL regular season, after spending a few days in Colorado Springs bonding as a group and trimming the roster to 23 players.
The biggest question mark will be the health of update for Elias Salomonsson, who is ahead of schedule as per Scott Arniel, but we haven’t had an update since we last spoke with the Jets bench boss last Friday.
As well today will be an introduction to the newest goalie in the system after Winnipeg claimed Clay Stevenson from Washington on Monday.
