The Jets have added goaltender Clay Stevenson to the mix as per Elliotte Friedman. The undrafted Alberta product has five NHL games under his belt with the Capitals.

Stevenson, 27, played four games for the Capitals in 2025-26 and had a 3-1-0 record with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage. The Drayton Valley, Alta. native also played in 37 games for the AHL’s Hershey Bears last season and went 18-13-3 with a 2.62 GAA and a .912 SV%. Stevenson played six playoff games for Hershey and went 3-3 with a shutout, a 2.15 GAA and a .921 SV%.
Stevenson, an undrafted free agent signed by Washington in 2022, has featured in five career games for the Capitals and has a 3-2-0 record with a 2.60 GAA and a .906 SV%. He has also played 109 AHL regular season games for Hershey and posted a 63-31-9 record with nine shutouts, a 2.50 GAA and a .909 SV%. Stevenson helped the Bears win the 2024 Calder Cup and he has a career playoff record of 4-3 with a shutout, a 2.38 GAA and a .913 SV%.
