The Jets are coming off their most impressive performance of the season last night as they dismantled the Stars 5-1 at Bell MTS Place to kick off an important home and home series against Dallas.  They will hit the ice here in Winnipeg before they head to Texas.

This morning the Jets have been busy as they claimed centre Nick Shore off waiver from the Leafs and placed Dmitry Kulikov on IR.  They also reassigned Michael Spacek to the Manitoba Moose.

Skate News:

On the ice plenty of changes as well.  According to Mitchell Clinton of Jets TV on the ice in a regular jersey are Mason Appleton and Nathan Beaulieu.  He indicated that Gabriel Bourque remains in a non-contact uniform.  Not present are Mark Scheifele, Tucker Poolman, Neal Pionk, or Luca Sbisa.

Coach Maurice:  Status of Luca Sbisa?  Update on Appleton, Bourque & Beaulieu.  How Appleton has handled/responded since the injury.  More on Appleton.  Adding Nick Shore to the lineup.  Will Shore join them in Dallas?  Will he play tomorrow?  Opportunity to re-work the 4th line.  Does the addition of Shore mean David Gustafsson is off to play for Sweden at World Juniors?  What has impressed him most about Connor Hellebuyck’s play this season?  What has Hellebucyk meant for the team finding identity/consistency?  What determines if Gustafsson sticks with the Jets?  Fostering leadership.
