Jets news:
Daily Faceoff: Nikolaj Ehlers continues strong play on Day 5. The Dynamic Dane has been full value for his country during the World Championship.
Winnipeg Free Press: Fans the real winners when the Jets and Ice work together. (Paywall). They make it work in Calgary and Edmonton where three teams (NHL, AHL & WHL) are all under one roof. Mike is curious if there is room to make it work in Winnipeg?
The Athletic Winnipeg: Jets fan survey: Why did the season end with such disappointment? (Paywall). Murat indicates they “received nearly 1,000 survey submissions this time around and, based on their intensity, our annual check-in is important to you, too. This time, you sounded off on the highs and lows of the Jets season, your changing perceptions about Kevin Cheveldayoff and TNSE, your assessments of Rick Bowness and his staff and more. You graded Winnipeg’s forwards, defence and management, while naming your team’s MVP, biggest underachiever, unsung hero and biggest breakthrough performance.”
The Hockey News: Could the New Jersey Devils pursue Connor Hellebuyck this summer? Obviously they could. Will they? That is the question. The speculation about 37 will continue to run rampant all summer long until there is some sort of resolution.
