Note: The Jets lost a disappointing contest last night in Detroit by a final score of 5-2 as they were unable to match the play of a Red Wings team that had lost 12 straight games. The team is off today and will be back on the ice on Saturday as they get set to welcome the Philadelphia Flyers to town to kick off the first of three home games at Bell MTS Place. Update: The team may be off but they made some news as they have loaned 2018 2nd round pick David Gustafsson to Sweden for the World Junior Championship.
Note II: Jets bench boss Paul Maurice was asked about Bryan Little who still has some healing to do and wouldn’t provide a timeline. You can read his transcribed quotes about Little here.
Note III: The Moose have a rematch with the Stars tonight in Texas. They came up short on Wednesday and will be looking to get a measure of revenge against their central division rival when the puck drops at 7 pm.
