Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest Jets and Moose news, video and audio.

Note:  Despite injuries and recalls and outside noise the Jets have rattled off three wins in their last four games to improve to 8-7-0 this season which included last night’s comeback win in OT against the Golden Knights in Vegas.  The Jets are returning to Winnipeg today from Vegas and won’t have any media availability.  They will likely be back on the ice on Monday to practice ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Devils in Winnipeg.

Note II:  On the “Headlines” segment on Hockey Night in Canada, Elliotte Friedman and Chris Johnston provided updates regarding the Dustin Byfuglien situation.

Note III:  If you missed it on Saturday afternoon Jets 2015 2nd rounder Jansen Harkins put up five points (all assists) in a 5-3 win over the Griffins as the Moose ended their losing streak.  They will look to turn it into a winning streak when they take on the Griffins this afternoon with a 2 pm puck drop.  Yesterday also saw the AHL debut of Ville Heinola, the return of Sami Niku from injury and JC Lipon play in his 400th game for this organization (IceCaps/Moose).
