Complete Recap of the Winnipeg Jets at the 2026 NHL Entry Draft

The Jets made a total of seven picks in 2026.

In case you missed any of the action from the past two days we have you covered. Here were the five selections that Winnipeg made:

1st: Viggo Björck
3rd: Samuel Hrenak
4th: Zach Wooten
5th: Alexandre Taillefer
6th: Landon Hafele
7th: Alofa Tunoa Ta’amu
7th: John Parsons

We have all of the interviews (video) that were conducted with the Jets draft selections . In addition Winnipeg GM Kevin Cheveldayoff spoke ahead of round 1 getting underway and then again to conclude Day 1 while Director of amateur scouting Mark Hillier speaking following the conclusion of Day 2 this afternoon.

Illegal Curve Hockey Draft podcast:

We kicked off day 2 with an extended version of the Illegal Curve Hockey Show as Drew, Ez and I went over day 1 including the selection of Viggo Björck in the 1st round, we looked ahead to free agency, discussed the Connor Hellebuyck situation, what other moves Winnipeg might make in free agency. Development Camp:

We don’t yet know officially who will be attending but we do know when it kicks off with prospects getting to Winnipeg this weekend. They won’t hit the ice until Tuesday and we should have the full list of participants from the Jets either later tonight or tomorrow.
