The Jets made history with the 199th pick as they select Alofa Tunoa Ta’amu and he’s also known as Noa who is the first ever player drafted of Samoan heritage. He’s from Kansas City and spent the last season in the WHL with the Edmonton Oil Kings as a left-shot defenceman standing 6’2 and 227 lbs.
