Notable:

Connor Hellebuyck moved into sole possession of 11th on the all-time games played list for the Jets 2.0 one ahead of Tobias Enstrom.

The Jets finally woke up in the 3rd period and opened the scoring with Adam Lowry‘s 7th goal of the season. He is on pace for 20+ goals which would be a career high. Lowry now has sole possession of 11th overall in points for the Jets 2.0 as he moves out of a tie with Andrew Copp.

Defenceman Josh Morrissey has now tied his career high for assists with 26. Incredible. Does it in 38 fewer games this time around.

Pierre-Luc Dubois scored his 14th goal of the season. He is on pace for 40+ goals this season. His career high is 28 which he set last season.

But it was too little too late for the Jets who couldn’t get back into this one. Alex Ovechkin scored an empty netter as he climbs higher in the all-time goals standings with 797.
