Winnipeg Jets sign goalie Connor Hellebuyck to a six-year deal

Jets starting goalie gets a six-year deal.

Photo Credit: Colby SpenceAfter putting up Vezina quality numbers this season RFA goalie Connor Hellebuyck stood to get a handsome raise from the Jets.  He ended the season with 44 wins a 2.36 GAA and .924 save %.  His goals saved above average which is a solid advanced stat for netminders jumped from -9.96 in 2016-17 to +23.75 in 2017-18.

Today the team announced that they have signed the Michigan native to a six-year deal worth 37 million dollars with an AAV of 6.167 million.
