The Jets are coming off a 3-0 loss to the Penguins which was essentially a 0-0 game into the 3rd, a goal in the first minute of the final frame with two “basically” empty net goals. It means they have split the homestand so far given their win over the Ducks on Thursday. They hit the ice today for a practice as they prepare to face the Hurricanes on Monday to conclude the three-game homestand.
Pre-skate news:
As per Mitchell Clinton of the Jets some of the injured players are taking part including Dylan DeMelo (upper-body injury) and Morgan Barron (wrist surgery). Good news with Barron via Mitch
“Barron is shooting some pucks, which is good to see for someone who had wrist surgery at the start of the month.”
Skate news:
According to Mitch the formal part of practice is optional today.
