Coach Maurice: On Coach Q’s firing in Chicago. Being the second most tenured coach in the NHL. What does he look for from Brendan Lemieux to learn coming out of the suspension? Does he think the Department of Player Safety get the call right? On how it changes a player’s game. On the Avs top line. On the next step the Jets top line can take. Does the goal Ehlers scored in Finland inspire confidence? On assessing the Jets season to date. What is a bigger challenge – no game in seven days or getting acclimatized to being back in Canada? Is this a bit of a re-start for the Jets? His thoughts on the Uber cam situation with the Senators.
Quote of the day:
Nikolaj Ehlers on whether he is lobbying for a game in Denmark “I wouldn’t mind that. I already told the guys, told Patty too, Denmark is way better than Finland. So that would be pretty awesome.”.
Up next:
Jets are scheduled to practice at the IcePlex at 11 am tomorrow.
