Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Coach-trashing Sens deliver humbling lesson in discretion, Maurice says. (Paywall). As any of us who think about it for more than a few seconds can do, it isn’t hard to put yourself in their shoes and imagine how you’d react to that situation.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets face tough test against Colorado’s high-octane top-line scoring machine. (Paywall). That top line has to be challenging for top top line in the NHL right now.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets Snapshots. Ted’s article covers 1) Jets are ‘fine’ with their start to the season but know they can be better. 2) Jets football fantasy at IG Field. 3) Kudos for coach Q. 4) NHL got the Lemieux suspension right. 5) Ehlers confidence booster. 6) Denmark up next?

Winnipeg Sun: Coach Maurice puts some perspective on Senators Uber-cam video. The reality is all you need to do is put yourself in the shoes of any of those players. We’ve all said regrettable things that we are happy we’re caught for public consumption. Seems like this Uber driver was trying to re-create the show Taxicab confessions.

The Athletic Winnipeg: Dominant power play is keeping the Jets afloat while Blake Wheeler searches for his game at 5-on-5. (Paywall). All things considered the Jets are still well positioned but they cannot be complacent or they will quickly find themselves on the outside looking in.
