Notable:
In case you missed it this afternoon the Jets placed Brad Lambert on waivers.
I’m sure you’ll be shocked to know that the Jets gave up the first goal of the game again. That’s the 12th time in 15 games this season.
Arber Xhekaj and Tyrel Bauer had a big boy tilt and then they had a post-battle discussing OHL vs WHL (I’m sure).
Habs goalie Jacob Fowler 36th straight save of the game was an unbelievable one on Cole Perfetti and you were left thinking how can they beat him?
Your answer: Tyrel Bauer the Sniper. What a shot by 77. There are a lot of guys in antlers who are very happy for the Alberta product right now. His first NHL goal. What a moment.
And Tyrel Bauer completes the Gordie Howe hat trick with an assist on the Morgan Barron goal. What a night for the pride of Cochrane, Alberta.
This Jets team couldn’t buy a goal. Down 4-0 and they scored four goals in like 2 minutes. Impressive.
And then Dylan Samberg wins it in OT.
