The Jets finally made a roster move today with the placement of 2022 1st rounder Brad Lambert on waivers for the first time in his career as per Darren Dreger of TSN to “make room for a call up option”. Presumably that will be Brayden Yager.

Lambert has just one assist in 11 games this season. It’s been a difficult year for the Finnish prospect, who, in my opinion, has been miscast in his current role on the team’s fourth line.
The 22-year-old has appeared in 42 NHL games with Winnipeg over his career, recording three goals and six assists.
