CBC: Jets power play rebounding at right time. The Jets went 2/4 against the Leafs last night and good news for Winnipeg is that the Senators have the league’s worst penalty-kill percentage at 64.5.
Winnipeg Free Press: Lots of love for Jets in T.O. The outpouring of support from across Canada continues. As the Jets make their first appearance in each city, expect a lot of kudos.

National Post: Scheifele starts making a case to stay in Winnipeg. Is it a case of too little too late? His play was definitely more noticeable than it had been during the last few games but it appears that this young Jet still needs some more seasoning before he is ready to play full time in the NHL.
Toronto Star: Leafs down Jets in weird one. The Leafs stunk up the joint for the first 2 periods but managed to play well enough in the 3rd to get the victory.
TSN: Jets lose again, but coach Noel sees signs of improvement. The questionable penalty calls really killed the Jets (2 Toronto goals in 27 seconds to tie the game) last night. The team played a pretty decent overall game.
Globe and Mail: Jets see signs of hope. This team is 1-3-1 so it isn’t all roses and sunshine just yet but they played a pretty good road game last night.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets snapshots – playing with fire in more ways than one. Jets playing with a lead, Pavelec’s shootout record, Jets playing to capacity crowds, Mark Scheifele’s bank account, twitter followers of his think Buff should be moved to forward, Winnipeg is everybody’s 2nd favorite team and most interestingly could the Jets be in the running for an outdoor hockey game?
Globe and Mail: Clock ticking as Jets near decision on Scheifele. The Jets #1 pick sure picked a great time to score his first regular season goal.
Globe and Mail: Jets fall short in Toronto. Nice that the Toronto crowd gave the video of the Jets return a standing ovation. Very Canadian.
