Note: The Jets held a formal media availability with new Jets head coach Rick Bowness and GM Kevin Cheveldayoff on Monday. They also held informal scrums with Bowness and Cheveldayoff.
Note II: There were plenty of nuggets gleaned from the media availabilities including the fact that the Jets will not be holding a development camp after the Draft in Montreal. We also received confirmation that Scott Arniel will be an associate coach and the team is retaining goalie coach Wade Flaherty. Also head coach Rick Bowness confirmed that the team was trying to sign goalie Eric Comrie who is set to become a UFA on July 13th.

A reminder that the Jets have two 1st round picks (14th overall and 30th overall), one 2nd round pick, one 3rd round pick, one 6th round pick and one 7th round pick.
