Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest Jets and Moose news, video and audio.

Note:  The Jets took Thursday to rest and recover which meant there wasn’t an update on captain Blake Wheeler who left Wednesday’s game after the 1st period.  Which means all eyes will be on skate this morning so stay tuned for the pre-game report to see if there will be any lineup changes as well as for the media availability with players and coach Paul Maurice. Puck drop is at 7 PM CDT. Join us afterwards for our post-game show here (be sure to smash that like/subscribe button).

Note II:  The Moose have another day of practice on the schedule as they work towards their next series which gets underway on Wednesday against Belleville.  There was also some Moose news as Todd Milewski of the Wisconsin State Journal indicated that Badgers centre Ty Pelton-Byce would be signing a PTO with the local AHL club and a one-year AHL deal for next season.

Note III: Jets 2019 5th rounder Logan Neaton has entered the NCAA transfer portal.  For more info on what that means click here.

Note IV: The NHL confirmed that the Canucks would be put on the shelf until next Tuesday due to players and a coach being placed under their COVID protocol which means the two games between Vancouver and Winnipeg have been postponed.

Note V: A reminder that you can watch ‘Live with Kenny and Renny’ featuring Sean Reynolds and Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet which starts at 9 AM and which will be available on their YouTube channel.’
