Note II: There was a bit of mystery surrounding Jets winger Jansen Harkins until coach Maurice revealed on Sunday he was dealing with an injury and today we see he was able to hit the ice for a skate.
Note III: Today the groups move downtown to Bell MTS Place for the remainder of training camp and will continue to be split into two teams for a day 8 scrimmage. A small group not participating in the scrimmage will skate at 8:00 AM and the main group will start to practice at 11:00 AM and scrimmage about 30 minutes later. We’ll have it all covered.
Note IV: The Jets were expected to place players on waivers today but there was an unexpected name amongst the five who they placed on the waiver list.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets have high hopes for fourth line in shortened season. The veteran trio (as it is currently constructed) will bring quite a bit of experience for the Jets on a nightly basis.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets can’t be called young any more – now it’s performance time. While they have some younger players they’ve got plenty of experience at this point. This team no longer gonna be able to reference that factoid anymore.
