Note: This is day four since the NHL hit the pause button on the 2019-20 season.
Jets news:
Edmonton Journal: A lot of possibilities for playoffs when NHL returns from pause. There are gonna be a lot of these types of articles for the next while.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets ownership doubles down on decision not to pay casual, part-time staffers. This has become quite a divisive issue online which is less than ideal at a time when folks are supposed to be banding together. Essentially True North is saying the majority of these employees will be paid when the events resume while the criticism is that due to these extraordinary circumstances employees should be taken care of (at least in the short term). True North has replied to the criticism with a letter to their employees which you can read in Scott’s piece. What side of the puck do you fall on with regards to the above?
