Note:  The Jets were off on Wednesday although as you’ll read in note II they were still making some news.  Today they are scheduled to practice at 11:00 AM at Bell MTS Place.  Be sure to check back for the Practice Report with the latest news and audio.

Note II:  The Jets announced they have extended head coach Paul Maurice to a multi year deal (reported to be three years).  Following Jets practice he and GM Kevin Cheveldayoff will be speaking.  Update: You can listen to Maurice’s here and Cheveldayoff’s here.

Note III:  The Moose find themselves back in action tonight following last night’s 2-1 loss to the IceHogs.  With 25 games left in their schedule it may be premature to call tonight’s game must win but it is getting close to that point.  Puck drop is at 7 PM.
