Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest Jets and Moose news, video and audio.

Note:  The Jets were off on Friday but they made some news as they announced that they have loaned 2018 2nd round pick David Gustafsson to Sweden for the World Junior Championship.  Today they are scheduled to hit the ice at 11:00 AM for a practice as they get ready to kick off three games at home starting with the Flyers tomorrow afternoon.  Check back for our Practice Report to get the latest news and audio.

Note II:  The Moose were in action last night in Texas as they had a re-match with the Stars.  Much like we saw with the Jets in Detroit funny bounces did the Moose in early in this contest as the opening pair of goals by Texas came off wacky bounces.  The Moose tried to fight their way back into the game but fell short and are now 12-14-0-0 on the season.  One positive note is Jansen Harkins picked up two assists which gave him 31 points this season in 28 games (he had 31 in 70 games last season).  The Moose continue the road trip in San Antonio tonight when they take on the Rampage.

Note III:  Tune in for three hours of The Illegal Curve Hockey Show on TSN 1290 Winnipeg with plenty of Winnipeg Jets, Manitoba Moose and NHL talk starting at 9 am.
