The Jets were off on Friday but are back on the ice today in Winnipeg as they get ready to kick off a three-game homestand beginning with the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday afternoon.

Skate News:

The only player missing from morning skate was Jets Captain Blake Wheeler according to Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun.  With Wheeler missing the Jets put Joona Luoto up the middle as per Mitchell Clinton of Jets TV who had the lines and D pairs this morning at Bell MTS Place.

Lines & D Pairs:

Ehlers-Luoto (Wheeler)-Roslovic

Mathieu Perreault

Gabriel Bourque

Coach Maurcie:  Status of Wheeler?  David Gustafsson being loaned to Team Sweden.  Did he like what he saw from practice and will they be able to put Thursday in the rearview mirror?  The look of the second power play unit.  What are the Flyers biggest strengths?  On Gustafsson learning to use less minutes.  Team having more fun.
