Note: The Jets played their final home game of the pre-season last night as they fell 5-3 to the Oilers.  No practice today so training camp will continue here in Winnipeg on Saturday when the players hit the ice at 1 pm out at the IcePlex.

Note II:  The Jets may be off but that didn’t stop them from assigning five players to the Moose.

Note III:  Darren Dreger first reported the news that the Jets and Laine talks were heating up and then he confirmed that it will be a two-year deal worth 6.75 per season.  Team has now confirmed the deal.

Note IV:  The Moose roster got bolstered Thursday morning as Seth Griffith and Logan Shaw both cleared waivers.  Tonight the team will play their first pre-season game as they take on the Iowa Wild in Grand Forks at 7 pm.
