Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news and audio.

Note:  The Jets got back on track at the halfway point of the season with a big 5-1 win over division rival Dallas yesterday afternoon inside Bell MTS Place.  The win leapfrogged the Jets back into first place in the Central with two games in hand on Nashville.  Today they are scheduled to practice at Bell MTS Place at 11 am as they get ready for another divisional game tomorrow night against the Avalanche.  Be sure to check out the Practice Report for the latest news and audio.

Note II:  The Moose returned home on Sunday following a three game road trip down in Texas.  They concluded the trip with a comeback victory over the Stars in a 3-2 shootout.  They have the day off today but will be back on the ice tomorrow for practice as they prepare for six straight home games.  Manitoba currently sits last in the Central Division but do have games in hand on most of the teams ahead of them.  While they still haven’t hit the halfway point in the season, meaning there is still plenty of hockey left to play, they need to start compiling some wins to get back into the playoff picture.
