Note: It was a busy day yesterday for the Jets at training camp. In case you missed it the team re-assigned five players to the Moose. They also held a special session with retired referee Paul Devorski and we heard further about this topic from Blake Wheeler, Mark Scheifele and coach Maurice.
Note II: The fourth of seven pre-season games for the Jets kicks off at 8 pm at Rogers Place in Edmonton as the team heads west to face the Oilers. The playing group is scheduled to skate at 10 am with the non-playing group on the ice at 12 pm. The Jets know what they need to do to reduce penalties but at this point this team needs to do whatever it can to reduce infractions.
