It has already been a newsy day as prior to this health update Jets bench boss Paul Maurice indicated that Bryan Little was being shut down for the rest of the season. At the end of his morning availability he was asked for health updates on Adam Lowry and Mathieu Perreault.
Lowry left a game against the Hawks on January 19th and was expected to miss at least a month and Perreault left a game against the Bruins on the 31st and was labeled out with an upper-body injury with the expectation he would miss two weeks.
This is what coach Maurice said about the pair of forwards:
“Lowry’s still week-to-week and Matty’s probably at that as well but I think Matty comes back before Adam”.
Which means we may be getting closer to an Andrei Chibisov NHL debut.
