Another player has signed on the dotted line, as the Jets announced today that they have signed Isak Rosén to a two-year extension with an NHL average annual value of $925,000. The contract will begin in the 2026-27 season.

Winnipeg acquired Rosén from Buffalo at the trade deadline this past season where he had three goals and four assists in 16 games for the Sabres. In 21 games with the Jets, he scored three goals, although it’s worth noting he was never given consistent linemates.
One thing Rosén has consistently done at the AHL level is score goals. He recorded 25 goals in 37 games with Rochester during the 2025-26 campaign and should get an opportunity this upcoming season to show what he can do at the NHL level. The question now is whether he can translate that minor-league success to the highest level of the sport.
