Winnipeg Jets confirm they will be returning to 100% capacity limits for games after Feb 15th

Jets confirm they will allow 100% capacity in compliance with the public health guidelines.

Winnipeg Jets sent an email to season ticket holders on Friday with regards to the provincial update regarding the lifting of restrictions and which confirmed that they will be returning to 100% capacity for the game on Wednesday against the Wild. As you can see the game on Monday against the Hawks remains at 50% capacity as the restrictions do not lift until the following day.

As you can read in the email below the team will continue to require proof of vaccination and masking requirements for all events at Canada Life Centre in February. (although spoiler alert they don’t have a choice since public health didn’t ease those restrictions until March 1st).

Here is the email they sent:

Earlier today, there was welcomed news from public health and provincial authorities that Canada Life Centre will be able return to full capacity, beginning on Feb. 15, 2022. Echoing the message shared by Dr. Roussin, there is confidence in this direction given the overwhelming number of Manitobans who have been vaccinated, coupled with the availability of both testing and treatments. Like many, we are grateful to Winnipeg Jets fans, and all Manitobans, who have done their part to get us to this point that allows for the phased elimination of restrictions.

Throughout the pandemic, True North has followed the direction and mandates of public health. This resulted in cancelled games in 2020, a shortened season without fans in 2021, and a mixed experience this season (at full, and reduced capacity). An unintended result has been changes in messaging, as circumstances have similarly changed. On behalf of True North, please accept our apologies for the changing messages, and thank you for your patience as we have all navigated the pandemic.

With today’s announcements, allow us to share the latest direction, as we all look forward to returning to events at Canada Life Centre:
The Monday, Feb. 14 Winnipeg Jets game vs. the Chicago Blackhawks will proceed as planned at 50% capacity.
Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 16, capacity at Canada Life Centre returns to 100%.

By 5 p.m. today, you will see digital tickets reinstated into your Winnipeg Jets account (for your seats), for games previously restricted to 50% (Feb. 16 vs. Minnesota Wild, Feb. 17 vs. Seattle Kraken, and Feb. 19 vs. Edmonton Oilers).

You are encouraged to log in to your account to manage your digital tickets HERE .

Looking forward, we are reviewing changes to public health orders concerning proof of vaccination and masking requirements, and will communicate updates as we learn more. In the meantime, proof of vaccination and masking requirements remain in effect for all events at Canada Life Centre in February.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Canada Life Centre to experience the passion, emotion and excitement of hockey live and together in person.

Are you eager to see a return to full capacity or might you sit it out awhile longer?
