Game 45: Jets vs Predators pre-game report

A look at the projected lineups and pre-game interviews.

The Jets rolled into Nashville last night after losing in overtime to the Stars in Dallas. They face a Predators team who sit 14 points up on them (although the home team tnt has played three more games) so it goes without saying that a clean two points are a must this evening in the music city.

Without the benefit of a morning skate we won’t know who is starting in goal for the Jets, whether the team will run Connor Hellebuyck back-to-back or let Eric Comrie build upon his strong game back on January 29th against the Blues.

With David Gustafsson wearing a regular uniform at the morning skate on Friday might he be an option to return to the lineup after being out since the Golden Knights game back on January 3rd?

For now the projected lines are how they looked to start the 3rd period last in against the Stars. They will be updated, if needed, once warm up skate gets underway at 5:30 PM.

Skate news:

No morning skate.

Pre-game news:

As per Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press he’s been told no roster changes coming for the Jets in Nashville. We don’t know how the roster will be lined up so we will have to wait for warm up skate but it does mean Connor Hellebuyck gets the start in net.

Warm-up skate:

Mike provides the lines below. Dubois starts on the second line with Copp and Lowry staying together on the third line.

Jets projected lines & D pairs:

Stastny-Scheifele-Wheeler
Connor-Dubois-Perfetti
Copp-Lowry-Reichel
Harkins-Toninato-Svechnikov

Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Schmidt
Heinola-Pionk

Hellebuyck
Comrie
