Note II:  Much like they did last week ahead of the game against the Avalanche the Jets announced a bunch of moves today including Paul Stastny going into covid protocol, Cole Perfetti being reassigned to the Jets from the taxi squad and three players being reassigned to the Moose to the taxi squad. That was before skate. After morning skate concluded they announced Eric Comrie and Brenden Dillon had entered protocol along with goalie coach Wade Flaherty.

TSN: Jets’ Chisholm says NHL debut will be ‘best birthday present ever’With the Winnipeg Jets dealing with COVID issues around the team, d-man and Bowmanville, Ontario native Declan Chisholm will suit up for his first NHL game against the Detroit Red Wings. His birthday is on January 12th, and says getting the word that he’ll make his debut was the ‘best birthday present ever.’
