Sportsnet: Oilers look to plant seed of doubt in Jets ahead of playoffs. While these two teams might not see each other for three weeks after tonight you have to somewhat believe that this contest can go a long way for giving a boost to either team. Then again the Jets would have Ehlers/Lowry back for the next series and either team could be without an impact player so it is also possible that tonight’s game doesn’t end up meaning much.

The team says that they need to turn things around in the final stretch run.

Tonight is the final regular season meeting between the two clubs, and the Jets see the importance of getting a win against the Oilers before they likely meet again in the first round of the playoffs.
