Manitoba Moose pre-game 4 (round 2) report vs Grand Rapids Griffins

A look at the projected lineups and pre-game interviews.

The Moose woke up this morning in Grand Rapids knowing they’ll play their third elimination game of the post-season after surviving two in round one. Perhaps they’ll take inspiration from the Springfield Thunderbirds who, like them, were big underdogs in their second-round series but eliminated the top-ranked Providence Bruins last night.

With no access to morning skate, it’s hard to know if Manitoba will make any lineup changes. Could Jets prospect Kevin He make his pro debut to give the team a boost?

Head coach Mark Morrison wasn’t happy with two of his lines, feeling they weren’t doing enough to force Grand Rapids into turnovers. He ended his Game 3 post-game media availability by reiterating that two of the lines needed heavier forechecks.
