From Kevin Allen of USA Today:
That brings us to Jokinen. The Tampa Bay Lightning forward became expedable when the Lightning signed everyone with a pulse this summer. Jokinen doesn’t come with the danger factor that Radulov commands, and he’s not a superstar-in-waiting like Radulov was. But Jokinen netted 16 goals last season, and more importantly, he is one of the league’s best when it comes to the shootout. Two seasons ago, he was 10-for-13 on shootouts. The cost of landing Jokinen shouldn’t be much because Tampa Bay needs to move money.

Allen doesn’t usually toss around trade rumors so it is always interesting to read when he has some suggestions. This one makes sense because, as Allen says, the Bolts have too many forwards and the Predators could use some scoring to replace Radulov. Time will tell if a deal gets done…
