Jets showed a ton of heart but the Stars take it in Game 6 with a power play goal winner in OT. What a season.

Notable:
It was a good opening period but the edge goes to the Stars as they outshot the Jets 6-3 but the shot attempts were 27-13 after 20 minutes.
In a game that he was uncertain to play in after his father’s passing last night it was Mark Scheifele who opened the scoring. And appropriately he tied Dale Hawerchuk (as did Kyle Connor) for most playoff points in a Winnipeg Jets jersey.
After the home team tied the game on a somewhat broken play about six minutes later the Jets suffered an even worse loss as Josh Morrissey got his leg caught under Mikko Rantanen and left the game. He would not return for the 3rd.
Lots happened in the final frame in regulation and lots of it wasn’t good by the visitors. Lucky for them they had Connor Hellebuyck who had their back making a number of spectacular save, none better than this one.
A late penalty to Mark Scheifele with 14.5 seconds left in the 3rd meant the Jets started OT on the PK.
And the Stars ended it on that powerplay. Heartbreaking for the Presidents’ Trophy winner.
