Well that game was pretty much over before it began. It started with a Patrik Laine slapper and was basically over from there. Wheeler (1G 2A), Ehlers (1G 2A), Laine (1G 1A), Scheifele (1G) and Byfuglien (2A) all had really good games. The Jets are the first team in the NHL this season to have four players score 20 goals (or more) and that number will be five when Bryan Little gets two more goals.
Patrik Laine continues to add to his rookie goals lead (32) and points lead (58) by three points over Auston Matthews in six fewer games.
Patrik Laine re-takes the rookie goal scoring lead. Not a shabby 32nd goal of season. Two point points lead (six less games) #calderrace pic.twitter.com/xlS7JEHPVh

Coach Maurice: Jets taking care of business. On the game Blake Wheeler has been playing. Importance of Hellebuyck’s past two performance. On how composed the Jets have looked the last two nights. Was it a test after the 1st period to keep momentum going?
