Game 6: Jets vs. Oilers pre-game report

A look at the game 6 projected lineups and pre-game interviews.

The shockwaves of the blockbuster trade Winnipeg made on Saturday morning are still reverberating but the team put it behind them last night and swept their three-game mini series with the Senators courtesy of last night’s 6-3 victory.

Roster questions:

With no morning skate we will have to keep our eyes peeled to the transaction moves made by Winnipeg today. Might they activate Ville Heinola who played very well in his season debut on Thursday?  Will Connor Hellebuyck get the back-to-back start or might Laurent Brossoit get his second start of the season against his former team?  For now the projected lineup is simply based on last game.

Warm-up skate:

Laurent Brossoit led the Jets and will start while David Gustafsson draws in for Kristian Vesalainen.  It will be the season debut for the Jets 2018 2nd rounder who last started a game for Winnipeg back on December 5th, 2020.
