Recap:
An unusual game which felt similar to that one the Jets lost in a shootout to the Red Wings earlier this month back in Winnipeg. The Jets played a good 1st period which they led 1-0 on the strength of Blake Wheeler’s 10th goal of the season, a rare Winnipeg power play goal. However for the 2nd and 3rd periods the Canucks took over the game scoring four times (once into an empty net) and preventing the Jets from that elusive three game winning streak which according to Chris Curry of TSN 1290 Winnipeg is now 1-14-2 record over the past two seasons.
