Game 33: Bruins 3 Jets 2 post-game recap

Post-game recap and interviews with Jets players as well as head coach Rick Bowness.

There is a reason the Bruins haven’t lost at home as they comeback to defeat the Jets in regulation to improve to 18-0-2 at TD Garden. Winnipeg drops to 21-11-1 on the season.

Notable:

With tonight’s game for Josh Morrissey (no. 456) he moves one ahead of Mathieu Perreault into sole possession of 8th spot on the all-time games played list for Jets 2.0.

Tonight was the 150th game of Jansen Harkins NHL career. From being a 2nd round selection of the Jets in 2015 to being sent down to the ECHL and working his way back up, quite a remarkable (but not surprising given his work ethic) achievement for the BC product.

The opening goal of the game was the 250th goal of Mark Scheifele‘s career. He’s got the second most goals from the 2011 Draft class (Nikita Kucherov in 1st). Scheifele leads the Jets 2.0 with most goals scored (two ahead of Wheeler). Eighth consecutive season where he has scored 20 (or more) goals.

Former Bruins forward Karson Kuhlman picked up his first point with the Jets against his former club. They added a secondary assist on the first Jets goal which was initially Scheifele from Perfetti.

33 assists for Josh Morrissey in 33 games. Quest for 82 continues. He’s got an 11 game assist streak (longest ever for a Jets/Thrashers Dman).

Adam Lowry up to 7G 13A for 20 points this season which is one off his total from last season (in 46 fewer games). On pace for 50 points this season.

The Bruins took over the game in the 2nd and rolled past the Jets in the 3rd.
