Game 3: Jets vs. Senators pre-game report

A look at the game 3 projected lineups and pre-game interviews.

The Jets left Toronto last night with a 3-1 loss but wouldn’t have much time to lick their wounds as they are in the nation’s capital today for a game against the Senators tonight. Many roster questions remain as Patrik Laine was listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Morning skate news:

No skate scheduled for the Jets today after they played last night.  You can expect some media availability soon with coach Maurice at which point we may get some roster clarity ahead of puck drop.  For now the projected lines are simply based on what Winnipeg used last night although in his availability bench boss

Lineup news:

Coach Paul Maurice confirms that Patrik Laine is not ready to return to the lineup.  Only change is Laurent Brossoit in net. Paul Maurice wouldn’t tip his hand as to whether it would be in the same configuration. Which means you’ll need to stay tuned to the warm up skate at 5:30 PM CT to see how the Jets are running things.
