Notable:
The Jets needed some players to get out of slumps and that is just what happened in the first four minutes as Mark Scheifele and Nikolaj Ehlers both scored. That was Scheifele’s first goal in eight game and Ehler’s first goal in six games.
Nice work by Kristian Vesalainen to score his second goal of the season.
Jets proceeded to blow a three goal lead and in fact gave up four straight.
Nikolaj Ehlers second goal of the game was just ridiculous as he just ripped it home.
With his second assist of the game Pierre-Luc Dubois tied last season’s points total (20) in 18 fewer games:
2021-22: 23GP 11G 9A
2020-22: 41GP 8G 12A
Josh Morrissey with goal number 4 on the season which ties him with his total from last season but he did it in 33 fewer games this season.
The second goal of the game by Mark Scheifele was a beauty as they finally score on the power play and his third goal for the hat trick was solid as well as he got the fourth hatty of his career.
Adam Lowry scored his third goal of the season to complete the doubling of the score.
Multi point game:
Mark Scheifele 3G 1A
Nikolaj Ehlers 2G
Pierre-Luc Dubois 2A
Blake Wheeler 3A
Neal Pionk 2A
