Jets next opposition news – Carolina Hurricanes: Skinner not thinking about sophomore jinx. Harrison out with upper body injury. Stalled Staal easy target for Carolina fans.

Winnipeg Sun:  Mason gets call for Jets vs. Canes.  Not surprising that the veteran netminder will be guarding the net for the Jets tonight in the first half of the Jets back to back games.

TSN:  Expected line combos for Jets and Hurricanes.   Looks like Burmistrov is staying on the 4th line tonight.  Of course coach Noel juggles his lines throughout the game so this could change at any time during the game.

CBC:  Jets try to duplicate Thrashers success at Carolina.  Not a bad road record.  Looks like the Jets like playing in Raleigh.

Arctic Ice:  Blake Wheeler looks like he is about to ‘break out’.  Do you think that the talented Jets forward can break his slump?

Jets next opposition news – Carolina Hurricanes:

Globe and Mail:  Skinner not thinking about sophomore jinx.  His game hasn’t shown any signs of issue this season as he is on pace to eclipse his rookies totals.  The move he pulled the other day to spin around the Flyers Kimmo Timonen and score a beauty was unbelievable.

Charlotte Observer:  Canes’ Harrison out with upper body injury.  He has led the Canes defencmen in points and has logged big minutes so not a loss the Canes can afford.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Stalled Staal easy target for Carolina fans.  He was a -10 in 81 games last season and has already hit -16 through 23 games this season.
