Breaking News: Winnipeg Jets Hire Pascal Vincent as Assistant Coach

The Winnipeg Jets have made another addition to their coaching staff, hiring former Montreal Juniors and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles head coach Pascal Vincent.

Mr. Vincent has spent the past twelve years as a head coach in the QMJHL, leading the Montreal Juniors to a 46 win season in the QMJHL last season as head coach of the Montreal Juniors. This was good for the second best record in the “Q”. In 2007-08 as the head coach in Cape Breton, Vincent was awarded the Ron Lapointe trophy awarded to the top coach in the QMJHL.

Vincent has front office experience as well, as he was the GM in Cape Breton in 2007, so successful that he was awarded the Maurice Fillion trophy as the top General Manager after overseeing a Screaming Eagles team that reached the 3rd round of the playoffs backstopped by current Winnipeg Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec.
