The former NHLer spoke about the high-ankle sprain that hampered Perfetti last season. Sees him as more a 3/4 per game guy. Feels the contract is where it should be.
He feels the Jets are “right on the line” for being a playoff team. Calls it a “crowded Central Division”. Spoke about how the Jets were a much better team after the Olympic break.
Asked if the players would find it awkward for Hellebuyck after all the talk this summer. Said the team would be happy to have a goalie of his calibre making stops for them.
