Former Winnipeg Jets forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan signs two-year contract with Brynäs IF of SHL

Another Jets/Moose player off to Sweden for next season.

Another overseas signing today as Brynäs IF in Sweden announced it has signed Jaret Anderson-Dolan to a two-year contract beginning with the 2026-27 season.

Anderson-Dolan joined the Jets organization ahead of the 2024-25 season as a free agent, signing a two-year contract after he was not tendered a qualifying offer by the Predators. The 2017 second-round pick of the Kings played 126 NHL games with Los Angeles and one with Nashville before joining Winnipeg.

He appeared in seven regular season games for the Jets during his first season with the organization, but his biggest impact came in the first round of the playoffs against the Blues, where he scored his lone postseason goal.

He spent this past season with the Moose, playing in all 72 regular season games and all seven playoff contests for Manitoba. He also made history in antlers, scoring the fastest goal to start a game in franchise history when he wired home this shot just eight seconds after the opening faceoff.

A hard-working, defensively responsible forward, Anderson-Dolan earned the trust of the coaching staff with his versatility and consistency. He also provided a steady veteran presence for a young Moose roster, whether through his play in all situations or his experience as a former NHLer.
