You can also check out our chat with Craig Button as it pertains to the pick here.
Note II: With the Stanley Cup Final getting underway tonight in Raleigh between the Hurricanes and Golden Knights, it appears Manitoba hockey fans are firmly behind Carolina. Jets news:
Winnipeg Free Press: Potential Winnipeg Jets homecoming in the works for Doan. (Paywall). There were rumours swirling last week that the former Jets 1.0 player was in town to check things out. Mike and Ken confirm same with this report.

The Athletic Winnipeg: Charting the Winnipeg Jets’ potential path back to the 2026-27 NHL playoffs. (Paywall). Murat gives you his guidebook for this to happen including 1) Keeping Hellebuyck 2) Trading the 8th overall pick. 3) Special Teams improvement.
