Word from around the blogs:
- Five Hole Fanatics: Early season reactions. While I don’t think Colorado will sustain their current pace, it should be interesting to see where things stand in a month.
- Deadspin: Oilers’ Souray none too pleased with Ex’s ‘Erotic Revue’. What’s up, what’s up!!
- Mileposts and Goalposts: Aftermath. Doesn’t look good for the Wild if they don’t have any prospects in the pipeline. At least the Vikings won today!!
- The Hockey News: Time finally catching up to the Predators. As Rich wrote the other day, these guys just don’t have enough scoring right now.
- Puck Rakers: Commodore getting close. Good news for the Jackets.
- Andrews’ Dallas Stars Page: Stars bounce back, bounce by Blackhawks. Gotta feel bad for Huet, as that bounce totally ‘Salo’d’ him.
- Fear the Fin: Potential Shark milestones that could be achieved this season. Some big ones could be achieved this season. Look to see Thornton get a lot of assists this season.
- SenSay: A break only a GM could love. Looks like the Senators are going to have lots to do while they wait to play their next game on Thursday. Why in a condensed season are there 5 days off between games?
- Maple Leafs Hot Stove: Feeling sluggish? Grab some Horton’s! Seems like the price the Leafs would have to pay is too high for GM Brian Burke.
- Bloge Salming: Behind closed doors in the Leafs dressing room. The only ray of sunshine in Leafs land.
- Habs Inside/Out: Marc-Andre Bergeron. Hopefully he can add some offense on that backend.
- The Bruins Blog: Bruin of the week. I would agree that it must be tough to pick someone when Boston went 1-2-0 this week.
- Die by the Blade: The week ahead for the Sabres. Some very big questions heading into this week.
- Lightning Strikes: Big line changes for Tampa Bay Lightning: Vinny Lecavalier and Marty St. Louis back together. I thought that Tanguay would be a good set-up man for Vinny but perhaps being reunited with Marty will increase his goal totals.
- NHL Rumours: Cogliano, Horton could be shopped, Kovalchuk to get big KHL offer? I can’t see Kovalchuk leaving for the KHL unless the money is insane.
- Fantasy Hockey Scouts: Fantasy hockey tweet off! Cool new feature from the guys over there. Check it out.
