Game 26: Jets 3 Blackhawks 1 post-game recap

Post-game recap and interviews with Jets players as well as head coach Rick Bowness.

The Jets are going streaking as they win their fourth game in a row to improve to 18-7-1 on the season. They are an impressive 10-2 against the Central this season.

Notable:

With the opening goal of the game Cole Perfetti moved into second spot (18 points) in NHL rookie scoring behind Matty Beniers (21 points) of Seattle.

Josh Morrissey has 25 assists in 26 games. This is insane. His career high is 26 in 65 games. On pace for 75+ apples this season.

The Jets haven’t had a “pest” in this lineup for awhile but that role appears to be filled courtesy of Mikey Eyssimont.

Guess the rumours of the demise of Blake Wheeler have been greatly exaggerated. He’s got 25 points in 26 games for the Jets this season.

With the assist on the second Jets goal Kyle Connor tied Bryan Little for 3rd on the all-time Jets 2.0 scoring list with 372 points.

Adam Lowry continues to put up points this season. He’s on pace for 50 points this season. His career high is 29 points.

Last year the Jets picked up their 18th win of the season in game 41. They just did it in game 26.
