Game 14: Jets vs Kraken pre-game report

A look at the projected lineups and pre-game interviews.

The Jets points streak came to a halt last night in Calgary but no time to lick their wounds as they face an unexpectedly tough Kraken team in Seattle who sit third in the Pacific Division.

Skate news:

No skate with Winnipeg having played last night. For now lines and D pairs will remain the same and we will have to wait and see if Mikey Eyssimont or Dominic Toninato get into the lineup.

While the Jets don’t play again until Thursday it seems likely they’ll run with David Rittich in net but always possible they go back to Connor Hellebyuyck.

Lineup news:

As per Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press who was in the media availability with Jets head coach Rick Bowness it will be the second ever NHL game for Mikey Eyssimont as he comes in and Jansen Harkins comes out. Also he confirms that David Rittich starts in net.

Jets projected lines & D pairs:

Connor-Scheifele-Appleton
Perfetti-Dubois-Wheeler
Maenalanen Lowry Jonsson-Fjallby
Eyssimont-Gustafsson-Gagner

Morrissey-Pionk
Dillon-Schmidt
Samberg-DeMelo

Rittich
Hellebuyck

Betway Odds:

The oddsmakers like the Kraken in today’s contest which is despite the fact that they are a rather pedestrian 3-4-1 at the Climate Pledge Arena. Be sure to check out the latest game day odds from Betway.
